I started making bears in 2003 when I was 15 years old after being influenced by a very dear friend of mine. My bears are inspired by my and my family's childhood teddies and by vintage bears I have collected. I like to create bears that have a well-loved vintage look and feel. This is why my bears are so eclectic in style, in hope that they look part of a collection of old cherished bears hence the name AJB Collect.
